Your Moment of Friday Awesomeness!

I live, I love, I slay I'm Content

I hate watching TV....

I'd rather mindlessly surf teh net, than watch BAD TV, there are a few exceptions: sports or a few select shows like How I Met Your Mother, Top Chef, Glee, Big Bang Theory and House.

Anyway, TV.com has made a list of 20 TV pilots they'd like to see made.

My opinions on a couple pilots listed.

Powers stand almost no chance of making it as a regular series. Don't get me wrong.... I hope that I'm wrong. No one but an arm load of fanboys want to see it made (self included.) The only way it stands a chance is if they give it the same edge as Nip Tuck.

Tagged could be comedy gold. Love Gary Cole and I disagree.... this pilot doesn't need a big star. It needs guts to be different. You bring in a couple recognizable TV actors and give it the "How I Met Your Mother" treatment and you're looking at a hit.

REM is a cool idea... but so wasn't Life On Mars (US). The problem with Life On Mars is I really didn't like the main cast and they failed horrible when it came to making me believe this was happening. This could potentially happen with REM. A cool series that that didn't fail but could have a similar feel to REM is Being Erica.

A few other pilots caught my attention like How To Be A Gentleman, 17 Precinct and Prime Suspect. These pilots will get some serious attention. Specially JJ Abrams Prime Suspect.

The way that TV programing is set up today. Maybe two of the 20 pilots listed will make it as a regular show. The few that do make it will be mid-season replacements at best.

What Would You Do?

That's the question the movie 127 Hours asks? What would you do?

"127 Hours
is a 2010 biographical adventure film produced, co-written and directed by Danny Boyle. The film stars James Franco as mountain climber Aron Ralston, who became trapped by a boulder in Robbers Roost, Utah, for more than five days in early 2003 before amputating his arm with a dull knife."

I gave it some thought and I don't think I could cut my arm off with a dull pocket knife. Just the thought makes my toes curl. The mere fact that Aron Rolston did this AND survived is amazing.

I wale like a damn baby whenever I stub my toe.
